Dad's Day Special: it's all about sperm
This is the day to celebrate the gametes from the guys.
Today is a day to honor those fatherly things that enhance life. And sperm is a biggie enhancement. Without these swimmers, there would be no babies.
In a past newsletter, I described the ‘taste receptors’ that were found on human sperm.

“The bitter taste receptors were also found in sperm. Perhaps the sperm may use them to “smell” their way away from bacteria colonized vagina and towards the more sterile fallopian tube, thus causing it to swim when ligand is contacted (bacterial metabolites), and slows to a stop, when not.”
Well, that communication goes both ways. The egg is smelling each spermatozoa, too. Then, she is ‘egging on’ the ones most ‘attractive’ to her, and allowing the ‘chosen one’ to penetrate her. [process called activation]. Still, our guy needs to have the strength to punch through that egg coat. Here, the ovary’s secreted progesterone comes swimming to his rescue. Apparently, sperm’ flagella get HYPERMOTILE when dosed with the stuff.
And the cervix is in on this too. As it turns out, chemicals in the female reproductive system are capable of rejecting ones that would yield a child with lower odds of survival. Specifically, the sperm with the fewest genetic similarities to the egg are given preferential treatment, as greater genetic diversity helps offspring ward off a wider variety of infections and health issues.
Entrepreneurs: the Pureblood Phenomenon
And now for some not-so-good news.
In the latest study, released this week, the participants [a group of 37 sperm donors, across 220 samples collected,] were studied for five months after receiving the vaccine according to CDC recommendations. Each participant provided multiple samples, spread out throughout the study’s duration.
The results showed a staggering drop in male fertility, with the average decrease being 22.1% across the study group. The study concludes, “Systemic immune response after BNT162b2 vaccine is a reasonable cause for transient semen concentration and TMC decline. ”In short, the Pfizer COVID vaccine does in fact reduce male fertility.” - Michael Robison Gateway Pundit
Of course, entrepreneurs never let an adverse effect go to waste. Some guys with unvaxx’d bodily fluids are eager to sell them to the ladies in need. And it seems to be a lucrative service, indeed:

Zinc to the Rescue Once Again
So what can a vaxx’d Dad do? Seems that our old friend Zinc, good for immunity and part of Dr. Z’s protocol, helps here too.
"We found that there were nearly 1,800 proteins in the sperm that were interacting with zinc ions, from which we deduced that zinc must serve as a master-regulator of various processes happening within the sperm to facilitate the recognition and binding of the male and female sex cells, which enables fertilization," … "For artificial insemination in livestock animals, the zinc-rich seminal fluid typically gets diluted beforehand, so our research shows that premature dilution may trigger premature capacitation, which causes the sperm to burn out and die. Therefore, by supplementing liquid zinc back into the sperm, we can potentially optimize the preparation of sperm for artificial insemination and increase successful fertility outcomes for livestock farmers." - Michael Zigo
And yes, there are other things that fathers bring to the world for which we appreciate them - without them, we would never have open jars!
