A study found that in young mice, when half of their own blood is replaced with blood from old mice, tissue health and repair deteriorate. And when older mice received the younger blood, they experienced no real improvements compared to their cohort of old mice. These results counter the hypothesis that young blood has rejuvenating properties; instead, seems that old blood’s components drive the aging process.
