Okay, why do they need to hide the valved respirator? Obviously the N95 respirator is protective for the wearer (electrostatic fine weave filter) and also allows for their exhaled breath to escape, decreasing fogging and forced opening of the seal around the face.
But wait…
Allowing air to escape, under positive plosive pressure, pushed through cloth weave mesh creates … fine AEROSOLS that hang in the air and project far into the surronding area! Is that a method of ‘source protection’ ?
