Ha! 42 years in Japan, and you just taught me something new about Japanese culture!
Come to think of it, I've sometimes wondered why capybaras in Yuzu-flavored hot springs become a common news flash this time of year.
I also like Catherine Austin Fitts, though only vaguely familiar with Wim Hof. Will have to read up on him.
Though much of your posts are a leap above my technical pay-grade, thank you for a year of fascinating reads!
