Thank you for expanding my knowledge base. The Th1 aspect pricked my curiosity. I use thyme tea for my asthma (very tasty by the by). The flower does resemble the thymus the same way the hawthorn flower resembles the heart. Plants are fascinating that way. The more I know the less I have to rely on my "healthcare team".

I am so glad you find my newsletters to be helpful.

Been reading old apothecary books from early 1900's and thyme herb is in most of their concoctions, for many ailments.

But I just really appreciate the carpet of purple it is spreading across my lawn ...

I can picture the beauty of that in my mind's eye. Will have to scope out the books you mentioned. Any particular favorites you can recommend? I have enjoyed Culpeper's Complete Herbal, a fascinating read.
