100 percent of the population that doesn’t go to the doctor, remain cancer free. Like Covid, you don’t have it until the diagnosis. Perhaps the diagnosis is the horrific shock that Hamer and Crichton theorized?
Crichton may have lived had he stayed away from the doctor, but then again, he loved science.
I very much agree with your hypothesis. Nocebo effect is powerful.
Crichton was a physician himself, though he never practiced. He was very critical of the medical complex and promulgated the need for time and attention in patient care. HIs fear came from the Global Warming cabal threats after he debunked them. He was sooo brilliant and prescient; I harbor a hope that he faked his death and is livng peacefully elsewhere. Do read his memoir "Travels" , written early in his career in 1988, it is very candid. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7665.Travels
I enjoyed State of Fear. And the wealthy gentleman in that story did fake his death. I like Crichton overall. Jurassic Park and Congo also entertaining. Thank you for the link. I will check it out. The appendix in his novel, gave me a good idea of his thoughts process.
The engineer in me takes some of his thoughts and steps another level back. I challenge some core scientific theory that he and others take for a given.
By the way, just found your stack, and I am looking forward to digging in. Thanks for sharing.

I think that any cause of weakened immunity can be the cause of cancer, including Covid vaccine, PTSD, trauma and grief.
Although evidence is still emerging, the association between PTSD and increased risk of cancer is a concern.
